Join the team as our next CAE Engineer Simulate components and subsystems of automotive safety devices, such as airbags, steering wheels, seat belts and pedestrian protection devices, through the application of tools as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other types of analytical calculations. Responsibilities: • Construction of FEA models following the requirements of the automotive industry. Verification of model quality from careful inspection and correction of models. • Interpretation of automotive safety testing standards. • Identification of modeling flaws and implementation of changes that allow improving the numerical models until the expected results are obtained. • Interpretation and adequate presentation of the results in order to offer conclusions that allow internal clients to make decisions in their development projects. • Provide high value feedback to product engineers, project managers, process engineers and other colleagues through effective reports and presentations. • Development and improvement of simulation methodologies that speed up the delivery time and improve the quality of the results. •Previous experience in FEA procedures, through the execution of analysis projects in an industrial sector. • Model preprocessing in Hypermesh, Meshworks, LS-Prepost and PRIMER. • Knowledge of the FEA process flow using Optistruct/RADIOSS or any other commercial Finite Element package such as ABAQUS, ANSYS and NASTRAN for the solution of non-linear static problems. • Knowledge of the FEA process flow using LS-Prepost and LS-DYNA. Requirements: • Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aeronautical, Civil Engineering or any other area related to computational mechanics. • 3 Years of proven experience in FEA procedures, through the execution of projects in some industrial sector. • Communication skills, oral and written, of technical results. • Advanced English language Desirable Features: • Model preprocessing in Hypermesh, Meshworks, LS-Prepost and PRIMER. • Knowledge of FEA process flow using Optistruct/RADIOSS or any other package commercial Finite Elements such as ABAQUS, ANSYS and NASTRAN for problem solving non-linear statics. • Knowledge of FEA process flow using LS-Prepost and LS-DYNA. • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or some other area related to analysis by Finite Element Analysis.
