Back End Developer

Join Walmart Global Tech as a Backend Developer to build and enhance scalable systems that deliver seamless digital experiences to millions of customers worldwide. You will work across various systems and domains, contributing to the design and development of critical backend services that support Walmart's digital ecosystem, from checkout and fulfillment processes to user engagement journeys. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including product, data, and UX, to design solutions that improve the customer journey. Architect, design, and develop scalable backend services and APIs to support complex digital experiences. Maintain high code quality through automated testing, continuous integration, and code reviews. Build scalable and reliable systems that handle large volumes of traffic and data. Develop reusable frameworks and components for backend service integration. Optimize application performance and ensure high code quality. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best engineering practices. Debug and resolve issues in distributed systems across different environments. Contribute to performance optimization, security improvements, and system resilience. Troubleshoot production issues in complex services. Job Profile: Intermediate English 5 years of experience in backend engineering platform development. Experience with Java technologies, distributed systems, and large-scale application development/design. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot. Experience with container technologies and microservices. Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and monitoring tools. Strong adherence to SDLC processes and agile/Scrum methodologies.
