Technical Project Manager / Data Engineering Remote | Part-time (30 hrs/week) About the Role Are you passionate about managing complex data and software projects in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager with strong leadership skills and a proven background in Software Development , Data Engineering , and Cloud Engineering to lead and coordinate 5–8 concurrent technical initiatives. This position demands excellent organizational skills, hands-on technical knowledge, and confidence in cross-functional collaboration. What You’ll Do Lead 5–8 simultaneous technical projects in areas such as Software Development , Data Governance , Data Warehousing , Business Intelligence (e.g., Tableau) , and Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.) . Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Partner with software developers, data engineers, and cloud architects to turn requirements into actionable project plans. Track progress, manage risks, and drive resolution of project blockers. Use JIRA (must-have) for backlog management and progress tracking. Maintain clear documentation using Confluence (must-have) . Facilitate Agile/Scrum and/or Kanban workflows and improve team efficiency. Collaborate directly with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication at all stages. What You Bring 5 years of experience in Technical Project Management . Proven background in Software and Data Engineering projects . Solid experience in data-focused initiatives (e.g., data governance , data warehousing , Tableau reporting , etc.). Hands-on experience managing cloud-based projects (e.g., AWS , Azure , etc.). Demonstrated ability to manage 5–8 projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence (must-have). Advanced English — capable of working with international, bilingual teams. Direct collaboration experience with internal and external stakeholders . Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Self-driven and proactive , with strong attention to detail. Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
