Required Certificates: Certificate in Bookkeeping National Diploma in finance National qualification framework (NQF) level 3 or 4 Professional certifications by Institute of certified bookkeepers (ICB) Association of accounting technicians (SA) Experience: Practical experience, financial department and take control of all financial issues Knowledge of your accounting software system (e.g. Pastel or QuickBooks) is a MUST Attention to detail and accuracy: need to be meticulous in their work Proficiency MS Excel: Fully skilled for bookkeeping tasks Basic accounting knowledge: Understanding of accounting principals Good communications skills: Effective communication is important for interacting with client and colleagues Business Literacy: Understanding of business operations and financial statements and management statements
