Area Sales Manager Heating Controls Job Title: Trade Area Sales Manager Heating Controls Industry Sector: Social Housing, Housing Associations, Housebuilders, Central Heating Controls, Smart Thermostat for Radiators, Plumbing & Heating Merchants and Distributors, Electrical Wholesale, Electrical Wholesalers, Independent Merchants, Plumbing & Heating Contractors/ Installers and small House Builders, Field Sales, Construction Sales, Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager Area to be covered: South West and South Wales Remuneration: £35,000-£40,000 8% bonus Benefits: Hybrid Car or car allowance full benefits package The role of the Trade Area Sales Manager - Heating Controls will involve: Field sales position selling a manufactured range of heating controls systems and newly launched smart thermostat for radiators Majority of your time will be spent selling to housing associations, housebuilders, social housing organisations, plumbing & heating contractors & installers The remaining portion of your time will be spent selling to / managing plumbing & heating merchants, electrical wholesalers and independent merchants accounts Offering advice on promotions, merchandising (small amount), providing support, technical input, passing on sales leads etc. Targeted to achieve circa £1m revenue Four days a week on the road, one day a week (Friday) working from home administration The ideal applicant will be a Trade Area Sales Manager - Heating Controls with: Ideally 2 years construction external field sales experience Plumbing & heating/ electrical market experience is not essential but may be useful May consider a branch manager for a plumbing and heating merchant or electrical wholesaler Would consider someone more junior in their career Ideally sold to plumbing & heating contractors/ installers Ideally managed merchants, distributors or electrical wholesale accounts Enthusiastic, and comfortable working with an evolving business Must be IT literate IEE electrical/electronics HNC / HND or equivalent would be a bonus Attention to detail and methodical organisational skills Industry Sector: Social Housing, Housing Associations, Housebuilders, Central Heating Controls, Smart Thermostat for Radiators, Plumbing & Heating Merchants and Distributors, Electrical Wholesale, Electrical Wholesalers, Independent Merchants, Plumbing & Heating Contractors/ Installers and small House Builders, Field Sales, Construction Sales, Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager ADZN1_UKTJ
