Site Engineer / Senior Engineer - Rail Location: London / Home Counties Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 negotiable dependant on experience plus car / van, fuel car and package Summary A successful railway infrastructure contractor specialising in track installation & signalling is looking to hire an experience site / setting out engineer to join their team on a prestigious rail projects in the South of England Key Responsibilities: - Setting out and monitoring of works on site - Conduct ITPs and some Work Package Plans - Conduct site surveys and ensure the correct levels and measurements are established. - Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification - Operate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environment compliance - Raising of technical queries - Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications - Implementing stringent quality control measures through regular inspections, ensuring that all project aspects meet the high standards set by both industry regulations and client specifications. Requirements: - A degree or HND in a relevant subject would be desirable. - Previous experience working within the railway environment - Pway / Civils experience - Proficiency in using total stations, GPS equipment, and other surveying tools - PTS/CSCS card - Track related competancies desirable For further information on this opportunity and to apply please get in touch with a copy of your CV.
