Client Relationship Manager

Job Purpose: The private equity specialist is responsible for reviewing the investment documentation like subscription/transfer agreements, LPAs, side letters, group policies etc and ensure that all the investment restrictions are accurately captured and reported to client. The team is responsible for evaluating the currency hedging programs for private equity and hedge funds. Review the quarterly financial statements, cap- call statements, distributions, redemptions etc and identify the foreign currency exposure for hedging activities. Review the system suggested hedge adjustment trades for private equity / hedge funds and instruct spot, FX and TRS trades to upsize / unwind the existing contracts based on investors activities. Provide support with equity trades received as part of in-kind distributions which can be sold publicly. The incumbent should be able to handle queries of the junior team members and share best practices with them and help them come up the learning curve faster. Key responsibilities: Be required to have strong understanding of alternative investments, private equity funds, hedge funds, derivatives. Have sound understanding of different trading strategies and currency hedging programs. Have thorough understanding of the clients IT architecture, data flows and organizational structure and should be able to navigate through the system to find answers & resolve queries Have frequent interactions with business groups including Portfolio Management, Trading, Legal and Risk team. Key Competencies Qualifications: MBA - Finance / CFA, Law, or Compliance related qualification. Capital Markets knowledge/NCFM certifications, preferred. Experience: 10 years of experience in BFSI At least 6 years of experience in investment compliance.
