Field Application Engineer - Crushing & Screening (Central/Rajasthan)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Application Engineer to support our sales team and customers with technical and layout-related guidance in the crushing and screening industry . This role is crucial in ensuring timely project layout approvals, generating accurate input reports, and minimizing layout errors due to incomplete information. Key Responsibilities: Technical Support for Sales Team: Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise during client discussions, ensuring optimal equipment selection and layout design for crushing and screening solutions. Project Layout Approvals: Manage and deliver timely layout approvals for ongoing projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and engineering standards. Project Input Reports: Prepare comprehensive input reports for layout generation, collecting and validating all necessary technical and site-specific data from stakeholders. Error Reduction & Quality Control: Identify gaps in input data and implement checks to minimize errors in layout designs, thereby improving overall project accuracy and execution. Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their operational needs and site constraints, translating them into functional and efficient layouts. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with design, engineering, and project management teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and continuity across all phases. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of best practices, tools, and templates for layout generation and technical documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related field. 3 years of experience in application engineering, preferably within the crushing and screening or heavy equipment industry. Solid understanding of crushing and screening equipment, processes, and layout principles. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and experience with layout planning tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Experience with project input gathering in mining or construction equipment settings. Knowledge of material flow and processing systems. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
