Senior Engineer MSSQL DBA

We are seeking a SQL DB with 3-6 years of experience with very good experience on MSSQL Admin activities including Azure, always-on, database migration clustering, etc. You will be responsible for configuring the database, administer the database and assist in development of any database related work. Skills Required Installing and Configuring the SQL Server 2008,,2012 and 2016, 2022 Applying SQL Server patches and hot fixes to stand alone and cluster servers. Creating and Administering the SQL Server Databases Expertise in Database backup, Recovery, Restoration and Disaster Recovery Plans Experience in User Management Good Experience in Performance tuning activities Experience in tools like Performance Monitor, Profiler, Import and Export wizard Configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting the REPLICATION and DR activities. Experience with upgrades from SQL 2000 to 2005 and from 2005 to 2008 and 2008 to 2012, 2016and to Higher versions. Ability to work well in high-pressure situations at Client side and develop solutions for various customer needs to meet SLA target Key Roles & Responsibilities: Installation and maintenance of database server Work closely with different development teams to understand database requirements and provide support Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system Monitoring & responding the database systems incidents to ensure secure production services to business Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades Responsible for implementation and release of database changes, as submitted by the development team Support for Development environments Refresh of UAT/Staging/pre-prod environments Database troubleshooting and problem root cause analysis Experience in performance monitoring, reporting and tuning of Oracle databases Work with infrastructure team (co-ordinate with application support team) to ensure that the associated hardware resources are allocated to the database to ensure high availability and optimum performance Proactive Maintenance of the database servers Monitoring of the database servers Trouble shooting activities Implementing Backup policy as per MVML project requirement Database recovery services Database Performance tuning activity Database Patch Application Database upgrade Database Capacity Planning Database Indexing activity Database performance monitoring Managing Cluster databases. Data Upload / Download activities. Trouble shooting connectivity issues. Providing Inputs for Table designing. Experience: 3 – 6 years Education Qualification: B.E/B.
