Java Software Engineer

Job Title : Java Backend Developer Location : Bangalore (Manyata Tech Park) Work Mode : Work from Office (WFO) Experience : Minimum 5 Years Role Overview As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Java technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable systems in a cloud-based environment. Key Responsibilities Design and implement backend components using Java 8 and Spring Boot. Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services. Work on cloud-based deployments using AWS services including S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, ALB, and IAM. Collaborate with frontend teams and other stakeholders for seamless integration. Ensure application performance, security, and scalability. Participate in code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers. Resolve technical issues through in-depth debugging and root cause analysis. Create and maintain technical documentation and best practices. Required Skills and Experience 5 years of experience as an application developer with proven track record on architectural and design leadership and delivery Strong experience in Java programming language with focus on Enterprise Java: JSP, Servlet, JDBC, EJB3, ORM (Hibernate, MyBatis) Strong knowledge and experience in developing and maintaining applications with Spring Boot Framework. Working experience in UI Technologies: HTML5, JavaScript and any JS framework (Preferably AngularJS, jQuery) Should have worked on SOAP, RESTful services and any application server and Web Server (Preferably JBoss and Tomcat) Good Experience on RDBMS and proficiency in SQL queries(Preferably PostgreSQL, MySQL) Strong knowledge on any cloud platforms and related technologies preferably AWS and cloud services like S3, IDM, EC2, Lambda, RDS, ALB. Experience in having handled Deployment Tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform Experience with Unit Testing framework: Junit/TestNG and Tools- Eclipse, SVN, Git, ANT, Maven, Jenkins etc. Ability to architect, design and produce quality code. Should be able to review and provide improvement comments in code reviews. Ability to guide and mentor other junior members. Good analytical, debugging skills for faster resolutions of issues.
