Job Summary: The Contingent Labor MSP Solutions/Operations Director is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operations of multiple Managed Service Provider (MSP) programs focused on contingent workforce management. This role ensures the seamless delivery of services, continuous process improvement, and alignment with client goals while driving operational excellence and efficiency in contingent workforce solutions. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in contingent labor MSP solutions, vendor management systems (VMS), and workforce strategies while demonstrating strong leadership, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making skills. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Solution Development Design, implement, and optimize MSP solutions to drive operational efficiency and meet client workforce objectives. Partner with key stakeholders to develop strategies that align contingent labor programs with business goals. Lead process improvement initiatives, automation efforts, and best practice implementation across MSP programs. Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance program capabilities and competitiveness. Operational Excellence & Service Delivery Oversee daily MSP operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service delivery. Develop and enforce program governance, policies, and procedures for contingent labor management. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure and enhance program performance. Ensure effective management of supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement and cost savings. Stakeholder & Supplier Management Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams regarding contingent workforce programs. Collaborate with clients to understand workforce needs and deliver customized MSP solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with staffing suppliers, negotiating contracts and monitoring performance. Work closely with HR, Procurement, and Legal teams to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Technology & Data Analytics Leverage Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and other technologies to drive efficiencies in workforce management. Analyze program data to provide insights, drive workforce strategy, and support client decision-making. Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation in contingent labor operations. Financial Management & Cost Optimization Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring cost-effective workforce solutions. Identify opportunities for cost savings, process efficiencies, and risk mitigation. Optimize contingent labor spend through strategic supplier negotiations and rate benchmarking. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Experience: 12 years of experience in contingent workforce management, MSP operations, or talent procurement. Strong knowledge of MSP models, contingent labor strategies, and supplier management best practices. Excellent presentation skills for QBR's and new customer solutioning meetings. Ability to present to a larger audience in a formal setup. Experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) such as Beeline, SAP Fieldglass, VNDLY, or similar platforms. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale workforce programs. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Should be excellent with numbers as we would like every process of our MSP solution to be measurable to drive better customer outcomes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Knowledge of employment laws, compliance regulations, and workforce risk management. Preferred Certifications: Certified Contingent Workforce Professional (CCWP) SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PMP (Project Management Professional)
