About us Exide Energy Solutions Ltd is setting up Indias first Giga plant to manufacture Lithium Ion Cells in Bengaluru. Exide Energy designs, develops and manufactures Lithium Ion Cells and Battery Pack solutions for various energy storage applications across Automotive and Industrial sectors. Purpose: The purpose of the Equipment Engineer optimizes equipment performance to support efficient, high-quality in Li-Ion cell production. They resolve issues, drive improvements, and minimize downtime, ensuring a reliable and adaptive manufacturing environment. Job Description: Ensure the seamless operation of manufacturing equipment for a designated production segment, including lift assists, jigs, fixtures, trolleys, and more. Maximize equipment efficiency and performance to maintain high-quality output standards. Continuously monitor and enhance production processes to boost operational effectiveness. Lead troubleshooting initiatives and implement sustainable solutions to equipment-related issues. Tailor equipment specifications and requirements based on product needs and production demands. Work closely with process, control, and manufacturing engineering teams, as well as other support teams, to ensure alignment on production objectives. Support the manufacturing engineering team during field construction and commissioning activities. Oversee projects aimed at optimizing production processes and facilities.
