Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities : 1. HR Strategy & Leadership Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the institution’s vision and business objectives. Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on HR matters. Drive HR initiatives that support institutional growth and employee satisfaction. 2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes. Ensure staffing needs are met with high-quality faculty, administrative, and support staff. Foster employer branding to attract top talent. 3. Employee Engagement & Organizational Culture Develop programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Lead initiatives to build a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven work culture. Address employee grievances and create conflict resolution mechanisms. 4. Performance Management & Career Development Implement performance appraisal systems and career progression frameworks. Ensure continuous feedback, goal setting, and employee development. Identify and nurture leadership talent within the organization. 5. Learning & Development Design and oversee faculty and staff training programs. Promote skill development and continuous learning initiatives. Drive leadership development programs for high-potential employees. 6. Compensation & Benefits Management Develop and manage competitive compensation structures. Ensure compliance with salary structures, payroll policies, and employee benefits. Benchmark compensation trends to maintain industry competitiveness. 7. Compliance & HR Policies Ensure adherence to labor laws, education policies, and regulatory guidelines. Keep HR policies updated and aligned with best practices. Handle disciplinary actions, policy violations, and risk management. 8. HR Analytics & Technology Leverage HR tech solutions for efficient HR processes. Analyze workforce data to improve decision-making and employee productivity. 9. HR Budgeting & Resource Allocation Oversee the HR budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for talent development, compensation, and HR technology. Monitor and control HR-related expenditures, ensuring that they are in line with overall institutional budgets and objectives. 10. Strategic HR Planning & Workforce Forecasting Collaborate with leadership to anticipate and plan for future talent needs aligned with institutional goals. Use HR analytics to predict and plan for shifts in workforce demand, ensuring alignment with NSHM’s long-term growth and expansion. Required Qualifications & Skills : Master’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the higher education sector is preferred. Key Skills: Strong leadership & decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Expertise in HR laws, policies, and compliance. Ability to drive organizational change & transformation. Data-driven approach to HR management.
