Also Over plant operations Must be from Transmission line/ Switchgears/Power distribution/ Transformer/ Bushing/Automobile/ Heavy Engineering Position Summary: We are seeking a seasoned and visionary COO / Plant Head to lead full-scale manufacturing operations with end-to-end responsibility for plant performance, team leadership, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy industrial manufacturing and proven capability in Brownfield or Greenfield projects This leadership role demands strategic thinking, technical expertise, operational discipline, and the ability to lead large teams across departments such as EHS, PPC, Purchase, and SCM while driving safety, quality, and cost excellence. Key Responsibilities: Plant & Operations Management Lead day-to-day operations of the plant including production, maintenance, safety, and logistics. Ensure efficient factory operations with focus on cost control, productivity, and delivery timelines. Drive reverse engineering projects for continuous improvement and cost reduction. Project Experience Spearhead Brownfield or Greenfield industrial from concept to commissioning. Lead planning, layout, regulatory approvals, vendor finalization, and execution. Align project goals with business expansion and operational scalability. Cross-Functional Coordination Oversee and coordinate functions across EHS, Production Planning (PPC), Procurement, and Supply Chain. Ensure alignment of interdepartmental goals with organizational strategy. Strategic Operations & P&L Management Own plant-level P&L responsibilities — budgeting, forecasting, and margin optimization. Analyze operational data and KPIs; define action plans to improve cost, quality, and efficiency. Develop and implement long-term operational strategies aligned with business growth. People & Vendor Management Lead and motivate teams, including permanent and contract staff. Manage external vendors, consultants, and EPC contractors, ensuring compliance and timely execution. Foster a performance-driven culture with high accountability. Quality, Safety & Compliance Champion plant-wide safety (EHS) and quality systems (ISO, BIS, etc.). Promote a culture of zero incidents and continuous improvement. Oversee internal audits, customer audits, and statutory compliance.
