Design Engineer - SCADA

Position/Job Title : Design Engineer - SCADA Designation : Manger/Sr Manager Function : Technical Department : Design Education : B.E./B. Tech Electronic & Communication / Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics Experience :7-12 Years Location : Ahmedabad and Site as per Requirement Project Design & Engineering that includes Review, finalization, preparation of basic study, system configuration. Preparation of material requisition, specifications, technical bid evaluation for SCADA/PLC/Control & Communication System Design and develop SCADA systems for solar power plants, familiar with standard make including selecting appropriate hardware and software, configuring communication protocols, and defining data acquisition and control points Familiar with various protocols like Modbus TCP-IP, IEC104, HART, OPC/IEC Ethernet, OPC etc. Understanding about Program and system architecture of SCADA systems to monitor and control various components of the solar plant, such as inverters, power Transformer, SCB/SMB, WMS and other electrical/Instrumentation equipment. Integrate SCADA systems with other plant systems, including data acquisition systems, power plant auto generator/DG controllers and other automation equipment. Added advantage of BESS/Other Renewable System EMS integration and knowledge of SAS_ Substation Automation System Preparation of field instrument technical specification, Proficiency in programming languages as well as knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and IOT programming Supporting proposal activities for various project bids Tendering including analysis of technical specifications, preparing comments/deviations, estimating time requirements, risk identifications, etc. Provide necessary technical procurement assistance in compliance with tender specifications/data sheets and within budgeted man-hour and project schedules Interacting with vendors on technical requirement Experience on the preparation of instrument specification/ datasheet/IO list and instrument index from P&ID/Engineering Developed SCADA Architecture including Hardware and Software components Experience for Configured and Programmed SCADA Systems using Programming Languages Implemented Data Logging, Trending and data integration of various subsystems Implementation of Load Control Logic for Active and Reactive Power as per requirement Development of Data Centralization System for Single Monitoring of various location in Single SCADA Troubleshooting of Solar Plat SCADA, PLC, Communication related issue for smooth commission and operation of plants Preparation of internal cost estimates and Techno commercial evaluation of bids. Experience in Erection & Commissioning of SCADA and Related Electronic/Instrumentation Items like WMS/UPS/CCTV for Solar Plant at various locations Added advantage of Data Security, Data Centralization System and SAS – Switchyard Automation System for power Plants including Solar/Renewable Plant Maintain detailed documentation of SCADA systems, including wiring diagrams, signal lists, and other relevant information for communication Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems related to SCADA systems at field. Test and commission SCADA systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meet project and design requirements. Provide ongoing project Soft Skill: Shall have strong communication skills, both written and verbal for collaborating with vendor, OEM, other engineers and stakeholders for day to day working.
