The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the structural engineering aspects of projects, mentoring junior engineers, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and delivering high-quality technical solutions. This role requires extensive experience in structural design, project management, and strong leadership skills. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of structural systems for a variety of projects, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure. Prepare and review structural calculations, designs, and technical reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Manage and coordinate the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and other project documentation. Oversee the work of junior engineers and provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support in their professional development. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders to develop efficient and innovative design solutions. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the condition of structures, monitor construction progress, and ensure adherence to design specifications. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. Review project proposals, prepare cost estimates, and assist in the preparation of project schedules and timelines. Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and building codes to enhance the quality and efficiency of designs. Lead and manage the resolution of technical challenges and issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is required. Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering, with significant experience in managing complex projects. Expertise in structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, etc.). Strong knowledge of building codes, structural design principles, and engineering standards. Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers and collaborate effectively with other stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
