Customs and Logistics Analyst

Based on the growth plans, it is being incorporated to produce harnesses and connectors with application in the automotive sector, which represents a great opportunity for success for the plant and all of us who make up the Volex team. We are looking for a Customs and Logistics Analyst who will be reporting directly to North American Customs and Logistics Manager. Core Areas Track and Trace international shipments from overseas and provide updates internally Expedite and rectify any delays with inbound Fed Ex Shipments Provide Customs Brokers with any missing documents Solicitation of Certificates for USMCA Expedite Cross Border Shipments Export Compliance and record keeping Provide Spot Rate quotes to requestor for Freight PO from Customer or internal approval Collect annual CTPAT forms from 3rd party providers Other duties as deemed necessary by leadership Qualifications and Experience University degree or equivalent qualification 5 Years Experience in US Customs, CTPAT and Logistics experience (ACE knowledge a plus) Fluent in English/ Spanish (Reading and Writing) 3 Years Experience in Import/Export solutions software. Valid Passport and US Visa if Mexican citizen Prior management of 3rd party Freight providers Proficient in Microsoft office products Classification of HTS for electronics, connectors, wire, plastic, and metal components Good communication and leadership Ability to work independently Export Compliance Classification ECCN
