We invite you to become part of SSW Advanced Technologies | Collis de México as Operations Manager. Candidate Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or related field. MBA preferred. 4 years of manufacturing and leadership roles. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities Communicate effectively with staff, stakeholders, and customers to align objectives and address any production-related issues or concerns. Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the production team. Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and ensure that employees have the necessary skills, training, and resources to perform their jobs effectively. Track KPIs like production output, downtime, quality rates, and safety incidents. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Implement safety training programs, conduct regular inspections, and promote a culture of safety awareness among employees. Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials. Identify inefficiencies and implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Manage the workforce, including hiring, training, and scheduling workers. Oversee the maintenance of machinery and equipment. Optimize workflows to increase productivity and reduce waste. Oversee inventory levels, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Monitor production costs and find ways to reduce expenses without compromising quality. Prepare and manage budgets for the operations department. Skills & Knowledge Hands on, operational leadership, EH&S Leadership, fast paced, growth environment. Bilingual (English & Spanish). Robust experience and education on lean or similar continuous improvement systems. Disciplined with good organizational skills. Strategic thinker. Sound decision making skills. Union experience.
