Job Description : Cloud DevOps Engineer Company : Mastech Digital Title : Cloud DevOps Engineer Location : 100% Remote (India) Work Timings : 6 PM - 3 AM IST (US Shift) Job Summary : Mastech Digital is seeking a highly experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team for a 6-12 month remote contract. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps, with a strong focus on MongoDB and Kafka. This role requires a professional who can work independently during US shift hours and has deep expertise in automation. Key Responsibilities : Azure Cloud Management : - Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure. - Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of Azure resources. - Optimize Azure cloud performance and cost. Azure DevOps Implementation : - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. - Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or ARM templates. - Automate deployment and configuration processes. MongoDB Administration : - Administer, optimize, and scale MongoDB databases. - Implement backup and recovery strategies for MongoDB. - Monitor MongoDB performance and troubleshoot issues. Kafka Management : - Manage Kafka clusters for data streaming and integration. - Configure and optimize Kafka topics and partitions. - Troubleshoot Kafka performance and connectivity issues. Automation Development : - Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools. - Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring tasks. - Implement automation best practices. Troubleshooting and Support : - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud and DevOps issues. - Participate in on-call rotations as needed. Collaboration : - Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders. Required Skills and Experience : Experience : Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in cloud and DevOps roles. Azure Cloud : - Extensive experience with Azure cloud services. - Deep understanding of Azure infrastructure and services. Azure DevOps : Strong experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and infrastructure management. MongoDB : Expertise in MongoDB administration, optimization, and scaling. Kafka : Expertise in Kafka data streaming, integration, and cluster management. Automation : - Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash). - Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform). - Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC).
