Oracle ERP/Fusion Technical Consultant - SCM Module

Job Description : As an Oracle ERP Fusion SCM Technical Consultant, you will be a key player in our client engagements, working closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver successful Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM implementations. Your expertise will span across various SCM modules, technical integrations, solution architecture, and project delivery, ensuring that our clients realize the full potential of their Oracle ERP investment. Responsibilities : Possess a strong functional and technical understanding of core Oracle ERP SCM modules, including : - Order capture, pricing, fulfillment, and shipping processes. - Sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and contract lifecycle management. - Inventory control, warehouse management basics, material planning, and costing. - Production planning, work execution, quality management (understanding technical aspects of integration). - Transportation management basics, shipping integrations. Demonstrate a deep understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP - Cloud-based ERP functionalities, including : - Configuration and personalization of the Fusion Cloud environment. - Workflow automation using Oracle BPM or Visual Builder. - Understanding of Fusion Cloud's scalability and security features. - Experience working in Multi-ERP Environments and understanding integration considerations with systems such as Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, and NetSuite. - Possess a working knowledge of Manhattan Associates (WMS, TMS, OMS) solutions and the technical aspects of integrating Oracle Fusion SCM with these best-of-breed warehouse, transportation, and order management systems. Design, develop, and implement ERP Integrations between Oracle Fusion SCM and various external systems, including : - Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, etc. - Transportation Management Systems (TMS) like Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), Blue Yonder TMS, etc. - Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems like Oracle Sales Cloud, Salesforce. - Third-party applications using various integration patterns and technologies. - Lead the technical design and architecture of enterprise-wide Oracle ERP solutions, focusing on the SCM modules. - Configure, deploy, and manage Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. - Design and implement ERP Security & Compliance measures, including: - Role-based access control (RBAC) within Oracle Fusion Cloud. - Data governance frameworks and policies related to SCM data. - Understanding and implementing compliance requirements within the ERP system. Participate in Cloud ERP Implementations involving : - Working with integration platforms like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SAP Cloud Platform Integration, or Microsoft Azure Integration Services. - Designing and implementing data migration strategies for SCM data to the cloud - Design and implement API & Middleware Solutions using platforms such as: - Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for building seamless data flows and integrations. - Dell Boomi or MuleSoft experience is a significant plus for integrating with diverse systems. Develop and manage ETL & Data Pipelines for : - Large-scale data migration of SCM data from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion Cloud. - Data transformation and cleansing processes. - Real-time or near real-time processing of SCM-related data between systems. - Understand the potential of AI/ML & Automation in ERP within the SCM context, including: - Leveraging AI/ML for predictive analytics in areas like demand forecasting or inventory optimization (understanding technical integration points). - Identifying and implementing opportunities for process automation using Oracle Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) or other automation tools. - Lead and contribute to ERP Customization & Performance Tuning efforts, including: - Optimizing system configurations and setups within Oracle Fusion SCM. - Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks related to SCM processes and integrations. - Developing custom extensions or reports using Oracle tools. Create and maintain Technical Documentation & Governance, such as : - Solution blueprints and technical architecture documents for SCM solutions. - Integration specifications and data mapping documents. - Contributing to overall governance frameworks for ERP in Enterprise IT Collaboration, interacting effectively with : - CXOs and business leaders to understand strategic objectives related to SCM. - Product owners and functional teams to align technical solutions with business requirements. - Internal and client IT teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Deep technical understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud architecture and its integration capabilities. - Proven experience in designing and implementing integrations between Oracle Fusion SCM and various enterprise systems (WMS, TMS, CRM, etc.). - Hands-on experience with middleware platforms like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is mandatory. - Experience with Dell Boomi or MuleSoft is highly preferred. - Strong understanding of API technologies (REST, SOAP) and data exchange formats (XML, JSON). - Experience with ETL tools and data migration methodologies. - Solid understanding of ERP security concepts and implementation. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
