PHP Yii2 Developer - RESTful API

Profile : PHP Yii2 Developer. Contract Duration : 6 months (extendable upto 1 year depending on performance). Engagement Type : Full-time (8 hours/day). Type : Freelancing Contract). Location Remote. Job Description : Project Overview : We are seeking a capable development agency to provide highly skilled PHP developers with deep Yii2 expertise. These developers will work in collaboration with our in-house product and design teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance enterprise web applications. Non-Negotiable Technical Requirements Each developer must have : - Minimum 2-3 years of Yii2 framework experience. - Minimum 3-5 years of PHP development. - Deep understanding of OOP principles. - Solid understanding of frontend framework and libraries like HTML, SCSS, Bootstrap, Javascript, Jquery. Proven experience in : - MVC architecture. - Custom component/widget/behavior creation. - Active Record and Query Builder. - Yii2 authentication & authorization. - Yii2 Event System. - Git for version control. - Composer for dependency management. - Extracting design assets and specifications from Figma. Additional Required Skills : - RESTful API development using Yii2. - Experience in extending existing Yii2 library for additional custom features/UI enhancement on top of the library. - Performance optimization techniques. - Yii2 Gii code generation. - PHPUnit or Codeception for testing. - Front-end tech (React & Bootstrap) integration with Yii2. - Security best practices. - Deployment experience. Deliverables Expected : - Production-ready, secure, and scalable application modules. - Regular code commits and documentation. - Bi-weekly sprint reviews. - Bug fixes and technical support during the engagement.
