Join us today! Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RPG Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in AS400/IBM i development, with extensive experience in RPGILE, RPG IV, RPG Free-format, CLLE, ILE, DB2, and SQLRPGLE. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our core business applications, as well as integrating them with modern web services and APIs. This role requires a strong understanding of ERP systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities : - Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the AS400/IBM i platform using RPGILE, RPG IV, RPG Free-format, CLLE, ILE, DB2, and SQLRPGLE. - Design and implement web service/API integrations for enterprise applications. - Create and maintain procedures, triggers, and service programs. - Write complex SQL queries, including dynamic SQL, stored procedures, and triggers. - Provide development and maintenance support for our ERP system (Infor XA/Mapics). - Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and customizations. - Create API's using IBM websphere. - Integrate AS400/IBM i applications with other systems using web services and APIs. - Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of developed code. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with developers, analysts, and business users. - Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. - Participate in Agile development methodologies. - Take ownership of assigned projects and work with minimal direction. - Provide accurate estimates and meet project deadlines. - Stay up-to-date with the latest IBM i technologies and best practices. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Required Qualifications : - 10 years of overall software development experience. - 2 years of experience as an IBM i Developer/Senior Developer. - 2 years of experience in maintenance, enhancement and Mapics ERP. - 2 Years experience creating API's using IBM websphere. - Strong proficiency in RPGILE, RPG IV, RPG Free-format, CLLE, ILE, DB2, and SQLRPGLE. - Experience building web service/API integrations for enterprise applications. - Experience creating procedures, triggers, and service programs. - Experience with complex SQL (Dynamic, Stored Procedures, and Triggers). - Strong analytical and reasoning skills. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Ability to work in a team environment. - Experience with Agile methodologies. - QA experience. - Experience with Infor XA ERP system. - Experience with .NET and Node.js. - Experience with Node JS.
