Job Title : Azure DevOps Engineer Location : Remote Experience : 5 Years Type of Work : 12-Month Contract Shift Timings : Shift 1- 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM IST Shift 2- 2 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM IST Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team on a remote, contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Azure DevOps, Linux, Windows Server, Networking, and monitoring tools like AppDynamics. Must-Have Skills : Azure DevOps Linux & Windows Server Administration Networking Knowledge Monitoring Tools (AppDynamics preferred, but Dynatrace or Splunk is also acceptable) Primary Skills & Responsibilities : Azure Fundamentals : Strong understanding of core Azure services, Azure pricing models, SLAs, and lifecycle management. Familiarity with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, and PowerShell scripting. CI/CD Pipelines : Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for build and release pipeline creation & management. Proficiency with YAML and classic pipelines. Experience in integrating Azure DevOps with other CI/CD tools like Jenkins. Source Code Management : Expertise in Git repositories (Azure Repos/GitHub). Strong understanding of branching & merging strategies, pull requests, and code reviews. Configuration Management : Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates. Expertise in managing environments and configurations. Monitoring & Logging : Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Experience working with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana. Windows & Linux Administration : Proficiency in Windows Server & Linux OS administration. Hands-on experience in user management, file permissions, system updates. PowerShell & Bash scripting knowledge for automation. Soft Skills : Collaboration & Communication : Experience using Azure Boards for agile project management. Strong team collaboration and communication skills. Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex DevOps issues. Performance tuning & optimization capabilities. Continuous Learning : Passion for staying updated with the latest DevOps trends and Azure services. Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification is a plus. (ref:hirist.tech)
