Job Type : Contract to Hire (C2H) Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Developer with a strong expertise in OAF (Oracle Application Framework) development, BI Publisher, and SQL to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) development, with a focus on customizations, enhancements, and optimizing solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for developers with hands-on experience in OAF, BI Publisher, and SQL/PLSQL to work on innovative Oracle EBS projects. As an Oracle EBS Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customizations in OAF, building and designing reports using BI Publisher, and writing complex queries using SQL/PLSQL to enhance the functionality and performance of the Oracle EBS Responsibilities : OAF (Oracle Application Framework) Development : - Design and Develop Custom OAF Pages : Create new OAF-based custom pages and enhance existing ones to meet business needs. - OAF Integrations : Integrate custom OAF pages with Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Financials, Procurement, HRMS, etc.) and ensure seamless data flow. - Component Design and Customization : Develop reusable OAF components, including regions, tables, forms, and messages, ensuring proper validation and business logic. - OAF Debugging and Troubleshooting : Proactively identify and resolve OAF-related issues, including UI inconsistencies, performance problems, and integration issues with other Oracle EBS modules. - Maintain OAF Best Practices : Follow OAF development best practices and guidelines to ensure maintainability, scalability, and performance of Publisher Development : - Report Design and Development : Design, develop, and maintain custom BI Publisher reports for Oracle EBS applications, both transactional and analytical in nature. - Template Development : Create report templates using BI Publisher, including XML, RTF, and XSL templates to ensure reports meet functional requirements. - Report Data Model : Develop and optimize data models for reports, ensuring efficient querying of large datasets while maintaining report accuracy. - Scheduled and Ad-hoc Reporting : Implement scheduled reports and develop ad-hoc reporting capabilities based on the business needs. - BI Publisher Integrations : Integrate BI Publisher with Oracle EBS and external systems to generate reports in various formats (PDF, Excel, HTML, etc.) and distribute them to the relevant Development : - Write Complex SQL Queries : Design and optimize complex SQL queries to extract data from Oracle databases for reports, integrations, and customizations. - PLSQL Programming : Develop and optimize PLSQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers to implement business logic and automate processes. - Database Performance Optimization : Identify performance bottlenecks in SQL and PL/SQL code and apply optimization techniques to improve system efficiency. - SQL-Loader for Data Migration : Utilize SQL-Loader for data migration and integration tasks, ensuring smooth and accurate data transfer between Oracle EBS and other systems. - Data Validation and Transformation : Perform data validation and transformation tasks using PLSQL and SQL queries to ensure data consistency and accuracy across & Integrations : - Oracle EBS Customizations : Work on customizations across Oracle EBS modules, ensuring they align with business needs and industry standards. - Interface Development : Develop custom interfaces between Oracle EBS and other third-party applications, ensuring data flows correctly and efficiently. - API Development : Work on developing and utilizing custom APIs for seamless data exchange between Oracle EBS and external applications. - Integration with Web Services : Leverage web services to integrate Oracle EBS with external systems, enhancing the automation and flexibility of business and Communication : - Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and other technical teams to gather and analyze requirements for Oracle EBS customizations. - Technical Documentation : Document all technical specifications, custom solutions, and integrations for easy future reference and troubleshooting. - User Support and Troubleshooting : Provide support to users, troubleshoot issues in custom applications, and ensure smooth operation of Oracle and Best Practices : - Follow Development Standards : Ensure adherence to Oracle development standards, coding practices, and version control protocols. - Code Reviews : Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and ensure that best practices are followed. - Testing and Debugging : Write and execute unit tests for custom developments and ensure that all solutions are thoroughly tested before deployment. - Optimization : Proactively monitor and optimize performance for custom developments, ensuring high availability and Skills & Qualifications : OAF (Oracle Application Framework) : - Strong hands-on experience in OAF (Oracle Application Framework), including the ability to create custom pages, regions, and customizations within Oracle EBS. - In-depth understanding of OAF architecture, development patterns, and best Publisher : - Expertise in BI Publisher report development, including designing XML Publisher reports, building data models, and working with templates (RTF, Excel, PDF). - Ability to troubleshoot issues with BI Publisher reports and optimize report performance. - Strong knowledge of XML, XSL, and RTF templates for BI : - Advanced SQL skills, including writing complex queries, subqueries, joins, and optimizations to handle large datasets efficiently. - Strong proficiency in PLSQL development, including creating stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages. - Experience with SQL-Plus and SQL-Loader for database interaction and data migration EBS Modules : - Solid understanding of Oracle EBS architecture and experience with Oracle E-Business Suite modules (preferably R12). - Experience with customizations and integrations within Oracle EBS Proficiency : - Experience with Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Workflow tools will be a plus. - Familiarity with Oracle JDeveloper and other Oracle tools is and Troubleshooting : - Strong analytical and debugging skills to quickly identify issues and resolve them in custom Oracle EBS solutions. - Ability to optimize code for performance and Skills : EBS R12 Experience : - Hands-on experience working with Oracle EBS R12 or Control : -
