Open Position Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) Location Bangalore (Remote role) Job Type: Contract to Hire Experience 2 - 3 Years Must-Have : Java API Automation CI/CD Notice Period : Immediate joiners About the Role : We are looking for passionate and driven Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team responsible for crafting seamless post-order experiences in a high-scale delivery ecosystem. You'll be part of a platform team developing interfaces that support multiple business lines like food, grocery, liquor, etc. This is a role for someone excited to solve real-world technical challenges from handling flaky internet connections and battery optimization to ensuring compliance using smart tech solutions like ML-based selfie checks during COVID-19. Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases for mobile and web applications. - Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality releases. - Optimize for performance, battery, and network usage, considering end-user experience. - Ensure test coverage for both functional and non-functional requirements. - Independently own test strategy, planning, and execution for projects. Must-Have Skills : - Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as an SDET. - Strong programming skills in Java. - Proficiency in API Automation using Rest Assured. - Experience with tools like TestNG, Maven, Selenium, Appium. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bitrise. - Experience with at least one mobile testing cloud platform. - Exposure to design patterns in test automation. Nice-to-Have Skills : - Scripting knowledge in Python, Shell, Perl, or TCL/TK. - Working knowledge of Kafka, Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, Solr, AWS. - Hands-on experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL). - Strong understanding of creating comprehensive test strategies including functional, non-functional, analytics, and automation aspects. - Proven ability to work independently and manage stakeholder expectations.
