Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Job Title : Senior QA Engineer Test Automation (Selenium) Location : Whitefield, Bangalore Experience : 56 Years Employment Type : Full-Time About the Role : We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who is passionate about automation and software quality. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Selenium test automation, API testing, and working within Agile teams. Youll be part of a fast-paced development environment where youll contribute to the automation framework, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high-quality deliverables across our tech platform. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver - Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into test plans and test cases - Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks - Participate in Agile sprints, attend scrum meetings, and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives - Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into the deployment process - Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing - Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or equivalent - Write clear and concise test cases, test plans, and test documentation - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers on automation best practices - Ensure the highest quality of software releases through rigorous testing and quality standards Must-Have Skills : - 56 years of QA experience with a focus on Test Automation - Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, or similar automation frameworks - Proficient in Java, Python, or any scripting language used in automation - Good experience with API Testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools - Hands-on experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams - Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - Excellent communication and documentation skills Nice-to-Have Skills : - Exposure to Performance Testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools - Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP Why Join Us ? - Work on challenging, impactful projects in a dynamic tech-driven environment - Be part of a collaborative culture that encourages continuous learning and innovation - Enjoy a modern workspace in the tech hub of Whitefield, Bangalore Access to health insurance and wellness programs Opportunities for professional growth and skill development (ref:hirist.tech)
