JK Tech - Automation Test Engineer

Job Description : Roles and Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain reusable and scalable automation test frameworks using the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern. - Demonstrate exposure to .NET, Java, and C# technologies and their testing considerations. - Possess exposure to hybrid automation frameworks that integrate multiple libraries for diverse testing purposes. - Utilize Jest as a testing framework to execute tests and generate comprehensive reports. - Employ Playwright to interact with web browsers for end-to-end testing. - Use Axios to make API calls and validate API functionality within automation scripts. - Integrate Allure for generating detailed and visually appealing test reports. - Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing. - Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not introduce defects and verify the proper closure of identified defects. - Understand and enhance existing Test Cases (TCs) and Test scripts by effectively utilizing element locators, WebDriver methods, JavaScript programming concepts, and TestNG Annotations. - Implement robust error handling mechanisms within automation scripts and effectively analyze test results to identify and report defects with clear and concise information. - Create data-driven tests to ensure comprehensive test coverage and execute these tests through the automation framework. - Develop detailed test scenarios and test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria. - Actively contribute to team agile planning activities, including backlog prioritization and management, by providing insights on testability and automation efforts. - Identify, verify, report, and regress software bugs with thorough documentation and steps to reproduce. - Track defects throughout their lifecycle and select appropriate test cases for regression testing based on the impact of changes. - Generate clear and concise defect reports with relevant details for efficient Skillset : - Strong proficiency in Selenium and Java for building and executing automation Skillset : - Experience with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript for modern web Tech Stack : - Exposure to .NET, Java, and C# development environments and their testing : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 3-6 years of professional experience as a Test Automation Engineer. - Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), particularly within Agile environments. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. - Strong communication and interpersonal Skills : - Experience with other automation tools and frameworks. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with automation testing. - Experience with performance testing tools. - Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (ref:hirist.tech)
