IT Application Engineer - Oracle HCM Integration

Job Details : Role : Sr IT Engineer Applications HR Tech Integrations Job Type : Full-Time (Permanent Opportunity) Experience : 6-12Years Location : Pune Work Model : Summary : This individual contributor is highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Functional/Technical Integration Developer with expertise in Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HCM Extract, BI Reports, Fast Formula, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). Experience with Dell Boomi or similar integration tools is a plus. The candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Oracle HCM and other systems to support our business processes and ensure seamless data : - Design, develop, implement, and maintain robust and scalable integrations between Oracle HCM and other internal and external systems. - Utilize Oracle HCM integration technologies including HCM Extract, BI Reports, and Fast Formula to meet specific business requirements. - Develop and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) as the primary integration platform. - Leverage experience with Dell Boomi or similar integration tools to build and manage integrations (if applicable). - Collaborate closely with HR, IT, and other business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Develop and maintain technical documentation for all integration solutions, including design specifications, mapping documents, and deployment guides. - Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring data integrity and system stability. - Monitor the performance of integrations and implement optimizations as needed. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for integration projects, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment. - Develop and work with Oracle database or other database technologies for data manipulation and validation related to integrations. - Contribute to the development and implementation of data warehousing technologies within a large organization, as it relates to HR data integrations. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Oracle HCM, OIC, and other relevant integration technologies. - Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines for all integration development activities. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members. - Manage and prioritize integration tasks effectively to meet project timelines and Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field. - Minimum of six (6) years of experience in Technology development/engineering, with a strong focus on application integrations. - Minimum of three (3) years of dedicated experience in integration development, specifically with Oracle HCM. - Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on development experience with Oracle database or other database technologies (e.g., SQL Server). - Minimum of three (3) years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (e.g., SDLC). - Minimum of two (2) years of development experience with cloud platforms such as OCI (Oracle Integration Cloud Infrastructure). - Minimum of two (2) years of experience developing and implementing data warehousing technologies within a large organization, particularly concerning HR data. - Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrable experience in Oracle HCM integration technologies, including : 1. HCM Extract 2. BI Reports (Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher) 3. Fast Formula 4. Oracle Integration Cloud Skills : - Deep understanding of Oracle HCM data model and business processes. - Strong proficiency in Oracle HCM integration tools : HCM Extract, BI Publisher, Fast Formula. - Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for building various integration patterns. - Solid experience with Oracle database or other database technologies, including SQL. - Familiarity with development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks to have : - Experience with Dell Boomi or other similar integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica). - Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services. - Experience with data transformation and mapping techniques. - Understanding of security protocols and best practices for integration development. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of integrations.
