SAP S/4 HANA Consultant - Finance Implementation

Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 HANA Finance Implementation Lead to oversee conversion projects from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA for our India entities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Finance modules and will be responsible for leading implementation efforts, coordinating between global teams, and ensuring successful delivery of solutions that optimize business processes. Key Responsibilities - Lead S/4 HANA (including SAP Analytics Cloud) implementation projects for India entities - Spearhead the Vertex (Tax module of S/4 HANA) implementation for India operations - Coordinate between India Finance team and US Finance/S/4 HANA teams to ensure seamless project completion within established timelines - Develop comprehensive project documentation including blueprints, process flows, and configuration guides - Conduct end-user training to ensure smooth adoption and operation of new systems - Configure and implement financial modules including Management Accounting, Receivable Management, Asset Management, and Treasury Management - Execute thorough testing protocols for data, reports, balance transfers, master data, and other critical components - Identify and implement process optimization opportunities to enhance efficiency and align with best practices - Provide ongoing support to address issues reported during run and operation phases - Ensure appropriate system access is arranged for the India team Required Qualifications : - Proven experience in SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA conversion projects - Strong understanding of FICO processes related to AR, AP, GL, FP&A, integration, tax processes, reporting, and SAP Analytics Cloud - Hands-on experience with Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) components, including Credit Management and Collections/Disputes Management - Practical knowledge of Treasury, Cash Management (Cash Flows, Inhouse Cash), Financial Consolidation/Reporting, and Central Finance - Deep understanding of the differences between SAP ECC batch processing and S/4 HANA real-time analytics - Excellent project management and communication skills - Ability to work effectively across global teams and time zones Preferred Skills : - SAP certifications related to S/4 HANA Finance - Experience with international finance operations, particularly in India - Knowledge of local regulatory and compliance requirements (ref:hirist.tech)
