Vice President - .Net Architecture

Job title : Vice President- .Net Architect (Investment and Trading Technology) Experience required : 8 years to 16 years Salary Range : 45- 80 LPA Location : Hyderabad Job Description : We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join the Investment and Trading Technology (ITT) group. The ideal candidate will play a hands-on role to architect, design and modernize the technology systems that we rely on every day, as well as build and manage these systems to solve business issues effectively. We are on a multi-year journey to enhance our technology landscape by adopting modern tools and leveraging modern hosting solutions such as the public clouds. This job will directly impact how the ITT development community creates software that enhance our business outcome. The ideal candidate will know several software development languages and be able to translate abstract concepts to technical outcomes. The candidate will develop effective and productive working relationships with peer technologists, analysts and key business stakeholders including Investment Professionals, Trade Support, and like groups, to effect change and drive successful outcomes via an Agile/DevOps delivery model. Creating leverage through effective leadership of offshore resources will be key to our success. The candidate will be hands-on 90% of the time. Qualifications : - Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other related STEM subjects - 8 years of experience working as a full-time software developer. - Experience in uplifting monolithic technology architecture to microservices, as well as understanding of event driven architecture. - Experience building interactive web applications and an interest in adopting modern technologies. - Experience with relational and/or non-relational database technologies. - Excellent programming and software design skills in object orientated programming. - Experience in developing and delivering API-based solutions. - Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools and containerization technologies - Experience writing asynchronous code. - Experience in integration with Investment Management platforms / large scale trading technology Portfolio management systems, trading systems, and order management systems. - Demonstrated experience working in Agile team settings. Responsibilities : - This is a hands-on role as an individual contributor and responsibilities include technical leadership, insight, and mentoring to peers; provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers. - Drive the end-to-end solutions architecture design and ownership and articulate the design to the product owners, agile teams, and leadership. - Provide technical oversight, leading software development tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents and code review. - Develop and collaborate on establishing architecture standards, patterns, and practices to be used repeatedly across solutions in the ITT team. - Be a subject matter expert for development teams as part of implementation. - Document and maintain product architecture for solutions architecture and technology portfolio; make recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives. Tech Stack : - Expert knowledge in .Net Core & Entity framework Core, Azure, MS SQL Server, Azure DevOps CICD pipelines, React, node.js, Web API services - Knowledge in GraphQL, MongoDB, Python, Secure Gateways, Messaging Systems / Containerized Architecture (Kafka, Kubernetes), Design patterns (CQRS, event driven, domain driven, etc.) (ref:hirist.tech)
