SAP Production Planning Consultant - Implementation & Support

Job Title : SAP Production Planning Consultant. Experience Required : 7-10 years. Location : PAN India. Employment Type : Full-Time. Job Description : We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant with 7-10 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SAP PP processes and will be responsible for optimizing production planning and scheduling functions to ensure seamless manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain SAP solutions that drive business efficiency. Key Responsibilities : - SAP PP Module Expertise : Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Production Planning (PP) module, ensuring alignment with business processes. - Production Planning & Scheduling : Configure and optimize production planning and scheduling strategies, including material requirements planning (MRP), capacity planning, and production orders. - Business Process Analysis : Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze current processes, and recommend improvements or new solutions to enhance production efficiency. - System Integration : Ensure seamless integration between SAP PP and other modules (MM, SD, WM, QM, etc.) to support end-to-end business processes. - Troubleshooting & Support : Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot SAP PP-related issues, and work on continuous improvements to ensure system stability and performance. - Training & Documentation : Develop end-user training materials, conduct training sessions, and maintain clear and accurate documentation for SAP PP configurations and processes. - Project Management : Lead or participate in SAP PP implementation projects, ensuring that deliverables meet timelines, budgets, and scope. - Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with stakeholders from production, supply chain, logistics, and other departments to identify gaps and provide effective solutions using SAP PP. Qualifications : - Experience : 7-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) with a proven track record of successful implementations and support. - Technical Skills : In-depth knowledge of SAP PP functionalities, including MRP, production orders, BOMs, work centers, routing, and capacity planning. - Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, or similar sectors. - Integration Expertise : Experience with integrating SAP PP with other SAP modules (MM, SD, QM, WM) and third-party systems. - Problem-Solving : Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve system issues effectively. - Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. - Certifications : SAP PP Certification is preferred. Education : - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - MBA or relevant certifications will be a plus. Desired Skills : - Strong project management skills with the ability to lead projects from inception to completion. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
