Job Description : As a Product Manager, you will play a critical role in executing the vision and strategy of our products, driving the development of scalable, high-impact solutions that elevate the supplier experience. Partnering closely with senior product managers, engineering, design, and business teams, you will lead the creation of innovative products that align with our mission and deliver significant value to both internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will collaborate closely with multiple teams and internal stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of competitive intelligence needs and workflows. Your primary focus will be on delivering capabilities that provide competitive insights, enabling Wayfair to make informed decisions across pricing, merchandising, shipping, and more. The Competitive Intelligence platform serves as a comprehensive ecosystem, offering data-driven insights that drive business growth and strategic decision-making. The core responsibilities for the job include the following : Capability Definition : - Prioritize and define capabilities that support informed decision-making in Wayfair's pricing strategy. - Develop detailed requirements, user stories, and workflows to guide development teams. - Work closely with engineering teams to shape platform-level products that are used by both technical teams and analysts, ensuring seamless integration and usability. Roadmap Ownership : - Maintain a clear product roadmap that aligns with business goals and supplier needs. - Balance short-term deliverables with long-term strategic initiatives. - Help drive the technical roadmap, ensuring scalability and Collaboration : - Work closely with engineering to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope. - Partner with stakeholder teams to ensure smooth rollout and adoption of new features. Stakeholder Management : - Ensure alignment on product goals, priorities, and timelines across teams. Product Delivery : - Drive the successful, timely launch of new features and enhancements that improve compliance and operational efficiency. - Measure and analyze product performance by running queries, extracting insights from data, and identifying key impact areas. - Develop and maintain business dashboards (Datadog, Looker Studio, or similar tools) to track KPIs, operational performance, and product success metrics. - Continuously refine and optimize product features based on real-time data insights and stakeholder feedback. - Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to ensure seamless data integration, monitoring, and reporting. Performance Monitoring and Data-Driven Decision Making : - Track and report on key product success metrics (KPIs) within your focus areas. - Comfortable querying databases to investigate problems, analyze trends, and drive data-driven decisions. - Continuously refine solutions based on data insights and stakeholder feedback. Travel and International Collaboration : - Able to travel internationally to collaborate with teams, share updates, and drive key initiatives forward. Requirements : - 5 years of experience in product management, with a total of 8-10 years of professional experience. - Strong accountability, organizational skills, and a results-driven mindset. - Ability to break down complex problems and guide teams through structured decision-making. - Expertise in testing, experimentation, and leveraging insights to shape product roadmaps. - Data-driven approach, continuously monitoring KPIs, writing queries to extract insights, and conducting analyses to inform decisions. - Comfortable working with databases and writing queries to investigate issues and validate hypotheses. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including making tough prioritization calls. - Experience in developing scalable tech solutions across cross-functional teams. - Good technical proficiency with an understanding of software development, agile methodologies, and scalable solution building. - Demonstrated stakeholder management in a cross-functional environment. - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Law, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus. - Have a basic understanding of distributed systems and how they impact scalability, reliability, and performance in platform-level products.
