Job Title : PLM Infra Engineer Company : Sunlight Technologies Inc Total Years of Experience : 8 years Relevant Years of Experience : 5 years Job Role : PLM Infra Engineer Job Type : Contract to Hire Location : Hybrid India Offshore, Onsite Job Summary : Sunlight Technologies Inc. is looking for a PLM Infra Engineer with 8 years of experience in enterprise PLM infrastructure management, specifically for Teamcenter installations. This role focuses on the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Teamcenter platforms both in AWS Public Cloud and On-Premise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with load balancing, automation scripting, database management, and monitoring of enterprise applications at scale, along with proficiency in tools like Apache SOLR, Oracle, and AWS services. Roles and Responsibilities : - Install and configure enterprise Teamcenter platforms on AWS Public Cloud and On-Premise environments (Tech Stack 2412). - Design and develop load balancing solutions for all components of the Teamcenter platform. Involvement in Docker configurations. - Create and manage versions and branching for PLM installations, including new branches, merges, access, structure, and software build/deployment using GEVs pre-defined tools. - Implement and manage enterprise search tools, including Apache SOLR, and ensure the stability and performance of the production search tool. - Design and manage both clustered and non-clustered database instances, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. - Develop automation/scripting solutions for maintaining environments at scale, and ensure the infrastructure is easily maintainable. - Perform active daily monitoring of the server and database, using health check reports, tools such as OEM, AWS console, and custom monitoring scripts to identify and resolve issues promptly. - Perform root cause analysis for database-related issues and ensure solutions are implemented across the infrastructure. - Perform system administration tasks, including standardized builds and support for US Export Controlled systems, tools, and other managed infrastructure. - Provide 24/7 on-call support for P1 Level issues related to PLM application services. - Resolve RITM, INC, and Change Task tickets within SLAs at a rate of 95%. - Ensure patching and upgrades are performed on all infrastructure to achieve a 90% SLA adherence for all EVM or Tech Debt items. - Manage major and minor version upgrade projects for infrastructure, middleware, and Teamcenter software. Skills : - Extensive experience in Linux system administration for enterprise environments. - Proficiency in Oracle database administration and troubleshooting. - Hands-on experience with AWS services for hosting and managing PLM infrastructure. - In-depth understanding of Teamcenter deployment models for on-premise and cloud environments. - Experience with load balancing techniques for enterprise applications and clustering for databases. - Knowledge and experience in implementing and managing Apache SOLR as part of Teamcenters enterprise search functionality. - Experience in developing automation scripts for environment maintenance and issue resolution. - Experience in providing 24/7 support, including resolving high-priority issues in real time (ref:hirist.tech)
