Job Title: .NET Developer (Full Stack) Duration : 6 Months (Contract) Location : Remote Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Only Experience : 5-8 Years Job Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced .NET Developer to join our development team for a 6-month remote contract opportunity. As a Full-Stack .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a variety of web applications and services. You will work closely with both front-end and back-end technologies, using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Key Responsibilities : Full-Stack Development: You will be responsible for developing both the front-end and back-end of web applications using the latest .NET technologies, including C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code to create a seamless and optimized user experience. Database Management: Utilize your strong SQL Server knowledge to design, implement, and manage complex databases. You will write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and be responsible for ensuring high-performing database interactions within the application. Front-End Development: You will work with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) to create responsive, interactive, and user-friendly interfaces that provide a great user experience across all devices and browsers. Your experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be key to creating the dynamic and engaging front-end elements. Cloud Integration: As part of the development process, you will work with cloud services such as Azure or AWS, integrating these services where necessary to ensure that applications are scalable, resilient, and optimized for cloud environments. Version Control: You will be working with Git/GitHub to ensure proper version control throughout the development process. You will collaborate closely with other developers to manage and maintain clean, organized code repositories. Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing and integration testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of applications. Utilize debugging tools and techniques to identify, troubleshoot, and fix issues in the codebase. You will be responsible for ensuring the applications are stable and optimized. Agile Methodologies: You will collaborate closely with team members in a dynamic Agile or Scrum development environment. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospective meetings, ensuring timely delivery of development tasks. Problem Solving: Demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex issues. Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively as part of a remote, distributed team. You will be expected to provide regular updates on progress and potential blockers. Required Skills & Qualifications: Professional Experience: 5 years of experience in full-stack .NET development. Proven track record in building, deploying, and maintaining web applications using the .NET ecosystem (C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API). Languages & Frameworks: C#: Expertise in C# development, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts. .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC/Web API: Proficient in building and maintaining RESTful web services, APIs, and microservices using .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC. Front-End Technologies : Solid experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React, Angular, or Vue.js) to create dynamic user interfaces and ensure high-performance web applications. Database Knowledge : Expertise in SQL Server: Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, creating stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Experience with database performance optimization, index management, and schema design. Version Control: Experience using Git/GitHub to manage code, collaborate with teams, and maintain version control throughout the development lifecycle. Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure or AWS, including deploying applications, utilizing cloud databases, and integrating cloud services into the application architecture. Web Development : Strong understanding of responsive design, ensuring that applications provide seamless experiences across devices and screen sizes. Expertise in cross-browser compatibility, making sure the application performs efficiently on various browsers. Knowledge of web performance optimization, ensuring fast page load times and minimal resource consumption. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to debug and optimize complex codebases. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, even in a remote setting. Agile/Scrum Methodology: Experience working in an Agile development environment.
