Job Title : Golang Developer SDE II Experience : 46 years Job Type : Contract (6 months) Location : Remote Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Preferred About the Role : We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Golang Developer (SDE II) with 4 to 6 years of strong software development experience in a fast-paced product development environment. You will be part of a collaborative team responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, and efficient backend systems that power mission-critical applications. As a key contributor, you will take ownership of features, engage in architectural decisions, and help shape the engineering culture while delivering high-quality software. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve backend services written primarily in Golang. - Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture planning sessions to deliver robust and scalable systems. - Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, frontend developers, and QA engineers to define, design, and ship new features. - Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and company coding standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the product lifecycle. - Champion test-driven development, unit testing, and automation as part of the SDLC process. - Drive the adoption of best practices in code quality, testing, and maintainability. - Experiment with and adopt new tools, technologies, and frameworks that can improve team productivity and product performance. - Take part in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies to deliver value iteratively. Technical Skills Required : - Strong development experience with Golang in production systems. - Solid experience in other languages such as Python or Java is a plus. - In-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming (OOP). - Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and service-oriented architectures. - Familiarity with modern design patterns and software engineering principles. - Good experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). - Proficient in working with Linux/Unix-based systems. - Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools like Docker, and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes is an advantage.
