Support Engineer - Java/C#

Position : Support Engineer Location : Hyderabad Job Type : Contract Work Type : Onsite Roles and Responsibilities : 1. Improving Systems' Operational Health : - Monitor and maintain the operational health of the system to ensure it runs efficiently without downtime. - Identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues related to uptime, speed, and system health, and provide timely resolutions. - Implement improvements to ensure high availability and scalability of systems. 2. Working on System Configurations : - Take responsibility for the configuration, setup, and ongoing maintenance of system settings, ensuring they meet both operational requirements and industry best practices. - Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that system configurations are optimized for both functionality and performance. - Address system configuration challenges by suggesting improvements or creating new configurations to better align with operational demands. 3. Meeting Task Completion Goals : - Prioritize and manage tasks efficiently while adhering to deadlines, ensuring all assigned responsibilities are completed within the agreed-upon timeframes. - Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to complete tasks while maintaining high standards of quality. - Regularly update management on task progress, escalating any concerns or delays as needed. 4. Troubleshooting and Support : - Respond to system alerts and troubleshoot system-related issues, providing quick resolutions to minimize downtime. - Work closely with developers, engineers, and other teams to identify and fix defects in the system, ensuring optimal functionality at all times. 5. Documentation and Reporting : - Maintain detailed documentation related to system configurations, performance reports, and troubleshooting steps. - Provide regular reports on system health and operational performance to management and stakeholders. 6. Continuous Improvement : - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in system performance management and configuration. - Recommend and implement proactive measures to improve system efficiency and prevent future issues. Mandatory Requirements : - 4 years of experience in software development, with a solid understanding of system operations and maintenance. - Strong programming skills in Java and C#, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly in production environments. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and solve complex system issues. - Strong understanding of system performance optimization and maintenance best practices. - Candidate must be based in Hyderabad. Required Skills : - Java : Advanced proficiency in writing and optimizing code, ensuring the stability and efficiency of the system. - C# : Hands-on experience with C# programming for system-related tasks, including debugging, performance tuning, and system maintenance. - Excellent understanding of system configurations, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting. - Good communication and documentation skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and keep stakeholders informed.
