Senior Cloud Solution Engineer - (1 Description : - Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to - Possess customer facing skills that will allow them to represent SDC, and drive discussions with senior personnel within the company, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact and give guidance to software developers and architects, should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. - Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects, and developing a deep expertise in the cloud technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the cloud platform. - Work effectively across internal and external organizations. - Experience of managing large IT Infrastructure deployment Projects. - Experience of Azure/AWS/GCP or other cloud infrastructure on IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, DBaaS in Data Centre environment. - Should have experience in completing lift and shift of in-house application to cloud. - Should have experience of Cloud platform like VMware/Microsoft/Redhat. - Experience in large scale distributed system design and implementation of cloud computing. - Should have sound knowledge of Virtualization, OS, and server hardware's. - Experience in Troubleshooting, RCA and performance optimization. - Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the solution architect community. - Help provide one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to the team. - Strong written communication skills. Technical Skills : - Should be highly technical and analytical, possess 10 years of current solution architecture (implementation/consulting) experience. - Experience architecting infrastructure solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, & storage architectures. - Understanding and experience of - Virtualization, Virtual Machine, Serverless Computing, Private Cloud, Public Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, Web services, API, Auto Scaling, Cloud Migration, Content Delivery Network (CDN), Event Driven Architecture, DNS, Micro services, Middleware, IoT devices, Bandwidth, IOPS, FTP, SSL, VPC, Data warehousing etc. - Understanding of cloud security - IPS, HIPS, Anti Malware, Antivirus, Virtual Firewall, Latency, Multi factor authentication (MFA), etc. - Understanding of different types of cloud storage like - Block Storage, Object Storage, Archival Storage and ability to use them appropriately for optimizing cost and performance of application. - Knowledge on Cloud Security threats like - Brute force attack, Phishing, SQL injection, Ransomware, DDoS. - Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers. Multi-Cloud experience Azure, AWS, GCP. - Experience with taking backup of VM and Database and re-deploying it along with understanding of Cloud Interpretability. - Experience in database design, optimization and query tuning. - Experience in full cycle Software Development and Automation on .NET / Java / Open Source Teck Stack : JEE, .NET, Big Data Tools like Apache Spark, Casandra, MongoDB, Kafka, HDFS, MapReduce, Apache Strom, Apache Flink, Apache Hive, Apache Mahout, HBase, Yarn, Zookeeper and others - Individual should be hand-on. Role : - Responsible for overall establishment and maintenance of VMS/cloud environment for all the BUs \ COEs. - Designing large scale heterogeneous cloud environment for customer centric projects or products. - Configuration of cloud environment/ orchestration layer as required by the clients. - Providing Virtual Machine to departments as per requirement and monitor the usage to optimize the cost. - Should be able to provide services like IaaS, PaaS & SaaS. - Monitor and execute Lift & Shift of application migrating to cloud.
