Kafka Specialist/Senior Kafka Engineer - Python/Grafana

Job Title: Kafka Specialist / Senior Kafka Engineer. Location: Hyderabad (Work from Office). Experience: 8 years. Type: Contract. Notice Period: Immediate to 10 Days preferred. Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Kafka Specialist with 8 years of IT experience, including strong expertise in building and managing Kafka-based streaming solutions. This is a contract role, based onsite in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of the Kafka ecosystem and hands-on experience with real-time data pipelines. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and manage scalable real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka. - Set up and maintain Kafka clusters, topics, and partitions. - Implement and manage Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and Schema Registry. - Work with engineering teams to integrate Kafka into various platforms and services. - Monitor Kafka performance and ensure high availability and fault tolerance. - Troubleshoot and resolve Kafka-related issues in production environments. Required Skills : - 8 years of IT experience, with 4 years in Kafka. - Expertise in Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, and Kafka Streams. - Proficient in Java/Scala or Python for developing Kafka consumers/producers. - Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture. - Familiarity with Avro, Protobuf, or JSON schema formats. - Hands-on with tools like ZooKeeper, Confluent Platform, Grafana, to Have : - Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure). - Understanding of CI/CD and automation tools.
