Java Backend Developer

Position : Java Backend Developer Location : Bangalore (On-site only) Availability : Immediate Joiners Only Work Mode : Hybrid Mode (2 days a week) Experience : 6 Years Education : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Tech Stack : - Backend : Java / Kotlin - APIs : REST - Cloud : AWS - Databases : MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis - Infrastructure : Kubernetes, Ambassador, Helm, Rancher Key Responsibilities : - Develop and support Java/Kotlin -based microservices powering our core product. - Collaborate with the cloud infrastructure team to deploy services in Kubernetes on AWS . - Maintain and improve code quality, availability, and service reliability through testing, monitoring, and metrics. - Work extensively with REST APIs for internal and external integrations. - Own the lifecycle of your services from development to deployment and operations. - Enhance internal tooling, engineering standards, and delivery processes for improved efficiency and consistency. - Candidate must have payment gateway domain experience, Requirements : - 6 years of backend development experience. - Strong experience with JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin, Scala, etc.). - Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, especially with AWS and Kubernetes. - Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis). - Strong unit testing and software quality mindset. - Positive, collaborative, and team-oriented approach. - Eagerness to learn, innovate, and adapt to new (ref:hirist.tech)
