About the Department Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations. Job Responsibilities Lead, build and manage a team of IT System analysts supporting cards platform and strategic projects across the UOB franchise. Build, manage and implement system capabilities based on understanding of the business functions and in line with the UOB architecture strategy. Be responsible for the functional solution construct for the Cards processor (CardLink-Mainframe) platform and distributed platform teams. Ensure cross functional analysis is carried out during requirement and solution phase. Plan and partner with Domain architects to establish the design solution. Build the team's capabilities to maintain the repository of system features inventory and data maps for the cards domain. Lead and engage in innovative problem-solving activities. Establish processes for system analysts to elicit detailed requirements. Partner with Program managers and Business Solution Specialist to collate functional requirements. Build a culture of collaboration with application development and testing teams. Facilitate discussion of concepts with business, Operations and technology stakeholders. Establish E0/E1 sizing and Tshirt sizing models across cards technology. Champion the delivery of high quality cards systems design. Inspire and drive the team to be superior Cards Subject Matter Experts. Foster an environment of technology excellence and innovation. Plan & collaborate across cross-functional domain application teams. Ensure that the application teams build the enhancements according to the technical solution plan. Partner with Test Management teams to review test strategy/test scripts. Manage the function validation support during UAT phases. Build exceptional peer relationships with key stakeholders. Demonstrate energy and ability to function in an intense & complex environment. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar domain. More than 18 years' track record in developing and delivering global / regional Cards capabilities. More than 12 years' leadership experience in managing IT System or business analysis teams. Thorough knowledge of Credit Cards domain is a must. Ability to think through technical solutions to business problems/requirements. Experienced in executing large-scale Cards technology transformation and migration projects. Past experience of having executed projects requiring cross functional analysis. Strong team player able to motivate team to respond to multiple demands. Hands on Experience having worked as a business analyst in the Cards space. Ability to own delivery responsibilities end to end. Thought leader with the ability to formulate processes and procedures. Strong team orientation and commitment to overall team success. Effective time management skills. Logical thinking, High analytical and problem-solving skills. Should demonstrate a disruptive innovative mindset. A strong awareness of both external and internal best practice perspectives. Highly effective communicating with senior technical stakeholders. Ability to remain abreast of industry technical trends.
