About The Department The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with tailored financial solutions, including deposits, insurance, loans, and wealth advisory services. Job Responsibilities Lead a team of AML Analysts in conducting enhanced customer due diligence on customers with AML trigger events. Lead ad-hoc projects and support UAT for system rollout. Ensure all activities adhere to the bank’s policies and regulations, with a focus on KYC/AML/CFT compliance. Maintain a strong first Line of Defence risk awareness and control ownership, including periodic assessments and quality reviews. Review team members’ work to ensure quality and provide training and guidance. Communicate effectively with stakeholders for AML investigations and manage escalated inquiries or complaints. Coordinate between Business units and Compliance on AML/CFT and sanctions matters. Respond to audits and regulatory queries related to KYC/AML. Implement operational risk management in investigation processes. Support compliance programs and identify process improvements. Lead additional projects as needed. Job Requirements Proven experience leading AML teams in customer due diligence. Experience with AML regulations and certifications in KYC/AML/CFT. Ability to ensure compliance with policies and risk management standards. Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and investigation coordination.
