About this opportunity: The Leading Hand Parks Maintenance role is integral to maintaining the beauty and functionality of Mackay’s parks, cemeteries, and camping grounds. This position involves assisting in scheduled maintenance activities for grass, garden beds, and trees. Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills: Qualification in Horticulture QLD C Class Drivers Licence General Construction Induction Card Chainsaw Level 1 Medium Rigid Truck Licence ACDC Weed Spraying Licence Practical experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of the demands and responsibilities associated with maintaining high standards in parks maintenance and team supervision. Skilled in effectively communicating work instructions, planning, and scheduling tasks and projects to ensure successful delivery and deadline adherence. Why work for Mackay Regional Council?
