Job Description

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Design Coordinator to join their team. As a leading Main Contractor, they specialise in delivering high-quality commercial, education, and healthcare projects across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a design professional to play a key role in ensuring smooth project delivery from conception to completion. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the design process, ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulations. Liaise with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to manage design deliverables. Review drawings and specifications, identifying and resolving potential design issues Support the construction team by ensuring design intent aligns with buildability. Assist in obtaining approvals and liaising with planning authorities as required. Ensure all design documentation is up to date and compliant with current regulations. Requirements Previous experience as a Design Coordinator (or similar role) within a Main Contractor. Strong understanding of construction processes and technical design. Knowledge of Building Regulations and industry standards Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software (desirable). Excellent communication and organizational skills.
