Electrical Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to support the commissioning of a hydrogen generation project in Methil, Fife. This is a 6-month contract role working on high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems . You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient commissioning of critical power infrastructure. What You Will Need: Proven experience in electrical commissioning within energy, process, nuclear, oil & gas, or power generation industries. Expertise in HV (11kV) & LV (400V) systems , including switchgear, transformers, UPS, and variable speed drives . Strong knowledge of HV switching, Electrical Safety Rules, and isolations , with Senior Authorised Person (SAP) certification preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, procedures, and technical standards. Hands-on experience with Factory & Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) , fault-finding, and commissioning documentation.
