Job Title: Electrical Test Engineer Location: Telford, TF7 4QL, UK Presence: 100% Onsite Type: Contract - Inside IR35 Duration: 1 Year Job Description: Role Scope: Tests, calibrates/validates and repairs electrical / electronic, mechanical / dimensional, or analytical test instruments, products and modules to maintain functionality and accuracy. Service is performed on Keysight products and/or products manufactured by another company. Work is typically performed at a Keysight site but occasionally is performed at a customer location. Performs routine tasks, using prescribed procedures and technical duties that may require use of judgment. Solves a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity. Solves test and calibration problems which require deep technical knowledge Responsibilities: Performing routine tasks, using prescribed procedures and technical duties that may require use of judgment. Solving a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity. Understand customers’ requirements through face to face and written communication. Travel to customer sites Requirements: Education and technical knowledge within sector and role Certifications as an electronic/electrical technician with relevant experience in calibration IT knowledge (Windows, Office) Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken) Confident at answering customer questions Ability to recognize and anticipate problems and search proactively for solutions Ability to work independently and proactive attitude Able to obtain UK security clearance
