Pharmacy Technician

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Location: Sutton Salary: Excellent rate of pay mileage covered Contract: 6 months with possible extension We are looking for a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join a dedicated NHS team located in Sutton. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality pharmacy services for cancer patients. You’ll play a key role in managing the supply and distribution of chemotherapy and other SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy) medications across the hospital, & an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable experience. Duties: Help manage the day-to-day running of the SDU Dispense and final check batch and patient-specific (PS) doses Ensure medicines are delivered on time to wards and day units Supervise and support junior team members Communicate with clinical teams and other pharmacy departments Support audits, data collection, and process improvements Help review SOPs to maintain high safety and quality standards What We’re Looking For: Registered Pharmacy Technician Must have NHS hospital experience Accredited Checking Technician (ACPT) qualification preferred Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team What You’ll Gain: Work in one of the UK’s leading cancer centres Be part of a forward-thinking pharmacy team Opportunities for development and progression Involvement in improving pharmacy services to benefit patients Apply today to be part of a team that’s making a real difference in cancer care.
