Senior Foreperson

Job Title: Night Shift Senior Foreperson Location: Devonport Dockyard Contract length: Long Term Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts, 4 days on / 4 days off (Nights) Pay Rates: Inside or Outside hourly rate (must have LTD company established before starting the role) Weekday nights: x1.33 Saturdays: x1.5 Sundays: x2 About the Role: We’re looking for a Night Shift Senior Foreman to support the delivery of infrastructure works on site. You’ll lead site activities during night shifts, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and to a high standard of quality. Reporting to the Works Superintendent, you’ll be a key part of the site leadership team and work closely with supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate site works during night shifts Manage labour, plant, and materials to meet the project schedule Lead and support site teams, including subcontractors Ensure work is completed to the required quality and safety standards Maintain accurate daily records and reports Carry out site inspections and ensure permits, briefings, and safety documents are up to date Support engineering teams with method statements and work planning What We’re Looking For: Essential: Experience as a General Foreman in construction Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures Understanding of construction methods and health & safety best practice Good computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, email) CSCS card and SMSTS NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision Desirable: Experience on nuclear projects NVQ Level 6 Confined Space training CAT & Genny, Temporary Works Supervisor, Lift Supervisor tickets If you have the relevant skill set and are interested in this role, apply today!
