Due to continued growth, they're now looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to support product development projects from concept through to manufacture including testing and commissioning. What's involved for the Junior Mechanical Engineer… * Be that hands on engineer to assist with production from nuts & bolts through to painting* Assist the design engineers in producing accurate drawings to support machine assembly* Liaise with various members to ensure work is up to date an accurate * Support new projects from installation to commission* Contribute to process improvements, quality initiatives, and lean manufacturing activities* Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation for both internal and customer use What you'll need… * Educated or hands on industry experience in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering background* 2 years' experience in a precision or high-tolerance engineering environment * Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo* Understanding of tight tolerance machining, materials, and finishing processes* Awareness of GD&T and relevant industry standards* Keen eye for detail, accuracy, and quality* Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills* A hands-on, proactive approach with a desire to grow and develop Benefits for the Junior Mechanical Engineer * Competitive salary* 20 days holiday bank holidays 1 extra day for every year of service* Company pension scheme* Training and development tailored to precision engineering* Long-term progression within a stable, specialist manufacturer Hours: * Full-time, permanent role.
