Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Support the delivery of Microsoft 365 Foundation Capabilities, specifically: Public Folders/PST Migration Strategy: develop migration strategy and plan for email archiving (logical grouping of data for migration) SharePoint Migration Strategy: shared folder migration, business led cleansing plan and stakeholder engagement plan, then migration activity itself Document Management Lifecycle Strategy: document management lifecycle and review development InTune Migration: planning analysis to move all corporate devices off Blackberry onto InTune Follow good industry practice and apply all such skills, knowledge and experience to the best of their ability to help client successfully achieve the goals and objectives of the project(s) directed towards; Support functional workshops and take minutes to record the outcomes of such workshops where required. To be responsible for the development of key project requirements and design artefacts. This may include requirements documents (e.g., RTM, process documents), high level and detailed design documents, user stories, solutions overviews and functional specifications; Support training and handover to ensure that the new processes and procedures become fully integrated throughout Client's Workspace. To support the definition of the business analysis approach to the project, agreeing activities and quality standard. To assess the fit of the proposed technical solution against the business need and assist in the documentation of detailed target functional design specifications. To ensure any design documentation produced is clear, testable, demonstrates alignment to requirements and/or solution architecture designs and meet appropriate internal standards. To work with other members of the design, development, and test teams to define solutions that meet the agreed requirements whilst not compromising client’s architectural strategy. Support Business activity: workshops, testing, training, and handover to business teams to ensure that the new processes and procedures become fully integrated. Work with client’s Change function and any other relevant departments, as identified by client during the term of the contract. Provide professional business analysis services within Client’s Change function for any additional projects as determined by client, during the term of the contract. Coach and support BAs assigned within their team, focussing on specific tasks or objectives to be defined by the assignment manager. The aim of the coaching agreement is for the BAs to be self-sufficient and will have acquired the experience and expertise from the contractor as demonstrated; and Produce, update, and maintain the deliverables set out below, in accordance with the agreed change methodology and using the appropriate templates, as identified by client during the term of the contract. Subject to any provision which is contrary in this Agreement (including clause 3), the Agency and Individual shall be free to perform the responsibilities at such time and in such manner as they may determine. Provide detailed analysis on the legacy Oracle data to enable future archiving and decommissioning of legacy estates. Documentation setting out high level and detailed functional and non-functional requirements. Manage and create Epic and Features as required to enable appropriate scheduling of planned decommissioning work Documentation setting out current business processes, to enable the optimisation and maturation of the workday landscape. Documentation setting out proposed business processes to enable the optimisation and maturation of the workday landscape, definition of done, a change log; and minutes recording the outcomes of functional workshops. The responsibilities will also include any other documents, plans or processes produced because of, or to assist with the Individual’s support of the project for client. This could be in connection with the services and any further responsibilities as identified by client. Additional detailed performance objectives will be set by your manager. Specific Skills: Essential Skills Conducting all business analysis activities on behalf of the BA Practice, development of key BA artefacts, reporting into the Senior BA within that Portfolio. To develop solid communication channels within and outside projects and provide regular feedback to stakeholders To ensure that the Society's change management framework, methodologies and change control processes are followed appropriately on all projects providing a fully traceable summary of deliverables and changes at the end of the project. To ensure that changes result in a positive customer outcome that is consistent with Members First principles and the Society’s conduct risk appetite. To provide ongoing business analysis support through the entire project lifecycle to Change and IT project teams and third-party suppliers. Providing support to the IT team developing and system testing the technical solution and to the Change Analysis and Assurance team with the coordination of user testing and implementation planning. To support business owners in their business readiness activities, including support to identify changes to; procedures, testing, communication and training needs, enabling them to adapt to and accept the change at implementation. To work in conjunction with the Society’s Project Managers, other Business Analysts, business representatives/SME’s and other Change delivery stakeholders to ensure that optimum communication and teamwork between projects is maintained. When assigned to projects with a Senior BA or Junior BAs, providing support to those colleagues as appropriate. Preferred Skills Good understanding of requirements elicitation, process modelling techniques and operational design. Ability to quickly develop a detailed understanding of business processes and identify and assess gaps in those processes Good stakeholder management skills with ability to question and challenge, put forward new ideas and gain buy in through key working relationships. 4.
