Quality Assurance Technical Manager

Technical QA Manager – MEP | £55k | Site-Based (UK Wide) Industry: High-rise Residential, Student & BTR Projects Contract: Permanent | Reports to: Divisional Director Are you a Site Supervisor or Engineer ready for the next step? We're looking for a hands-on Technical QA Manager to lead on-site MEP teams, ensure quality compliance, and deliver top-tier installations across complex projects. Key Responsibilities: Supervise MEP teams (in-house & subcontractors) Ensure QA compliance with British/European standards Conduct inspections, audits & maintain detailed records Resolve defects and manage aftersales support Lead, train, and motivate site teams Attend progress meetings and complete handover documentation Requirements: 5 years MEP site experience (residential/student/BTR) NVQ3 or equivalent engineering qualification Strong mechanical installation & troubleshooting skills Proficient in MS Office, Fieldview, Aconex; ISO system experience Valid UK driving licence; willing to lodge away Desirable: SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness Knowledge of Procore Interest in sustainability & compliance Ideal Candidate: A proactive leader, problem-solver, and excellent communicator who ensures quality and drives project delivery.
